Maga Guillermo del Toro tette közzé a Facebook oldalán az utolsó előzetest A víz érintése című korhatáros sci-fi-jéhez, amely a december 8-i USA bemutató ellenére csak 2018. február 22-én érkezik a hazai mozikba. A film már körbejárt egy rakás fesztiválon, és igen jó kritikákat kapott.
Hivatalos szinopszis: Az Oscar-díjra jelölt Gullermo del Toro új filmje, A víz érintése a hidegháborús Amerikában, 1962 tájékán játszódó szokatlan tündérmese. A szigorúan őrzött kormányzati létesítményben takarítónőként dolgozó, magányos Elisa a külvilágtól elzárva él. Élete gyökeresen megváltozik, mikor munkatársnőjével felfedeznek egy titkos kísérletet és annak alanyát, egy különös, kétéltű lényt.
